Equipment Sales Manager
BBM Railway Equipment, www.bbm-railway.com, specializing in the engineering and manufacturing of rolling stock assembly, maintenance and testing equipment has an immediate opening for an Equipment Sales Manager covering the North American territory (US & Canada).
POSTION SUMMARY:The Equipment Sales Manager will be a member of our field sales team and will focus on developing business opportunities with existing/new customers with the goal of growing stock assembly, maintenance and testing equipment sales in the North American region. The successful candidate will be technically oriented with strong oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills. This position will report to the Vice President.
- Achieve revenue and sales targets as defined by the business leadership
- Develop strategy, tactics, and sales plans for NA sales of rail equipment
- Develop relationships with key industry customers
- Analyze the market, the players and their interactions
- Identify and report on business opportunities in maintenance and testing equipment
- 5 years sales experience including business development and account management in the rail equipment market
- Prior railway technical and industry knowledge required
- Specific railway/maintenance/service supplier contacts a must
- Ability to travel at least 50-70% of the time
