Area Manufacturers Open Their Doors for In-Demand Jobs Week

Youngstown, OH— May 1, 2019 — Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition member companies, Brilex Industries, Inc. and Ventra Salem, LLC welcome high school students, parents, and others from the community considering a career in manufacturing to tour their facilities as part of In-Demand Jobs Week, 8^th and 9^th.

Attendees will get a glimpse of the company and what they make as well as jobs and training opportunities available now.

“Local manufacturers are hiring in-demand jobs, such as machinists, industrial maintenance technicians, and welders,” said Jessica Borza, Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition Executive Director. “This is a great opportunity for individuals to see first-hand what it’s like to work in modern manufacturing and learn about jobs and training available in their own hometown.”

In Demand Jobs Week is a statewide celebration of jobs, industries and skills that are in-demand in Ohio. In-Demand Jobs Week occurs during the first full week in May—this year, May 6-10, 2019.
